July Tour 2012 (7/21/12)- Googie’s Lounge- NYC

On day two (the final day of our super mini tour), Scout and I decided to start the day in the park…Central Park. We took the train in from New Canaan, CT and wound up in NYC to play for some Saturday strollers in Central Park. We shuffled around a few spots and actually made some really great friends and a few quick bucks thanks to the lovely donations of some friendly park attendees.

Then after the park we grabbed some food and headed down to Googie’s Lounge where I kicked things off at 9:30PM and Laura (aka Scout) went on at 10:30. This show and venue blew me away. I know I keep saying how nice everyone has been, but honestly everyone has been so into the music. the crowd at Googie’s was so into the tunes and really loved listening. I can’t thank everyone enough who came out  for support as well…Matt Robin and Brian Benson this means you. The locals were also very into the NYC music scene and I know Scout and I both had a great time.

Check these pics out from the Central Park/Googie’s Lounge show:

Thanks for listening
